Brig General (Ret) John E. Michel, Managing Partner: John is a decorated combat leader who is passionate about innovation and change. In addition to founding VETS and creating Patriot Express, America’s first scalable veterans serving veterans transportation model, he is also a TED speaker, best-selling author, sought after business adviser, and board member of numerous National Non-profit organizations serving various veteran causes.

CMSGT (Ret) Michael J. Klintworth, Chief Operating Officer: Mike is a decorated combat leader who has served as the sole mentor and executive coach to Afghanistan’s most senior enlisted leader.  While in that combat environment, he provided strategic guidance for structuring, developing, and leading a military force of 6,700 personnel.   

CMSGT (Ret) Jean E. Michel, Lead Project Manager: Jean has spent over 54 years serving our nation. Following a distinguished 30 year Air Force career where he served at every level of leadership and responsibility, he transitioned to civilian service where he architected numerous service level programs to improve quality of life for Airmen and their families across the Air Force, culminating in his leading all people programs for the AF’s largest command.

Holly L. Michel, Chief Creative Officer: Holly is a mother and 23-year military spouse with an incredibly creative nature and eye for detail. Her awarding winning work with various artistic mediums has earned her awards and accolades across a variety of venues.

Perry J. Smith, Chief Human Resources OfficerA lifelong entrepreneur and avid learner, Perry has created, operated and scaled a wide variety of successful hospitality and retail businesses including Polly Esther’s and Culture Club entertainment venues as well as multiple retail locations of the popular Right-On Futon in Chicago, IL.   Most recently he founded, built and scaled the Matchbox Food Group which currently has 15 units in California, Maryland, Texas, Virginia, and Washington, DC.  Perry Smith graduated from Lehigh University in 1987 with a BA in History and received an MA in Communications from New York University in 1992.

Sonal Dahiya, Chief Financial OfficerSonal is a “numbers guy” with a strong sense for operational matters; the controller at a Fortune 500 company referred to him as an auditor that “understands” – a testament to his ability to think outside of the check boxes and apply intelligent reasoning to the “rules”.

Catie Hargrove, Chief Development OfficerCatie is an executive coach with nearly 20 years of experience in the government, military, nonprofit and private sectors. She works with leaders at all levels to help them understand how to use their gifts and strengths to achieve their goals and get the results they desire for success at the next level.

Chris Lum, Lead Sales Manager:  Chris is a high achieving Millennial who is passionate about creative problem solving, leading and empowering teams, and having real impact on the world and those he works with.

Erin Matyus, Project Manager:‚Äč  Erin is an energetic coach and educator that seeks to challenge and empower those around her. She is inspired by leadership, motivated by purposeful action, and is a believer in the innate power of people to be catalysts for change.
